Senior Finance Consultant (Dynamics 365 FSCM)
Join us and take responsibility for the execution of tasks related to the pre-sales, fit-gap analysis, functional design, testing and documentation of software components in, or extension of, Microsoft Dynamics 365 FSCM.
The senior consultant will spend the majority of their time having workshops with customers, analysing customer requirements, modelling business processes, writing functional designs, testing software components and documenting them. They will also be responsible for mentoring junior consultants, supporting software developers with any functional knowledge gaps they might have and providing the sales team with the necessary knowledge to drive business which includes but is not limited to, preparing fact sheets, preparing slide-decks and giving presentations to customers about a specific business knowledge area.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Capture, assess, and define client’s business requirements and create strategies to meet those objectives using practical Dynamics 365 business solutions and industry best practices.
- Document and review all business processes, Gap/Fit Analysis findings, functional design documents, testing scripts, training documents and progress updates throughout implementation lifecycle.
- Design and re-engineer business processes using best practices and standard Dynamics 365 business procedures.
- Actively organise and facilitate workshops, in-house seminars, webinars, and knowledge transfers with clients and Business Consulting Team members.
- Provide functionality demonstrations and training to new clients, end-users, and senior-level executives, as needed.
- Work closely with the development teams to assist in the design and conduct unit testing as well as integrated testing.
- Assist in go live procedures and post go live support.
- From time to time, it will be required as per customer/project needs to be available beyond normal working hours
- Taking ownership of customer deliveries and deadlines.
- Ability to deliver business solutions to customers without senior management involvement
- Preparation of project status report for internal/customer presentation as/when needed.
Skills, Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Degree or similar accreditation in Business / Economics or related area
- 5+ years Dynamics 365 FSCM functional experience (essential)
- Strong in-depth knowledge of business processes
- Good business background and comfortable with client facing tasks
- Ability to work alone or in a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel and work in an international environment for large global projects
- Strong problem-solving skills
